Looking for an easy summer DIY? I got you! These super easy painted terra cotta pots are fun and playful, and can be easily customized to match your summer décor, both outdoors and in.
All you need for this project is terra cotta pots and paint of your choice. I found a pack of 3 small terra cotta pots at my local dollar store for $1.50, so this is a very affordable craft! For paint, I used leftover latex wall paint, but pretty much any kind of paint would work here.

Since this project is very simple, it would also work great as a project for kids (with adult supervision, of course!) or as a fun family activity!
You can plant real plants in these, but since I can’t keep anything alive, I plopped in some of my felt succulents. Check out how to make these here. You can also re-purpose these fun pots as pencil holders, candle holders, or as open storage. You can use any color that works with your décor, and create fun and playful designs that work for you!
Wishing you all a happy and crafty summer! ❤
